Loren Fenske has grown up in Santa Barbara, California. Loren’s father is a general contractor, J.G Fenske construction. This set the foundation for Loren’s career in construction. Local knowledge of the land and hard honest work habits are instilled in Loren’s work ethics. Loren has built homes in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Hope Ranch, Sandy land, Sand Point, Carpenteria, Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Paso Robles, Fresno, Northridge and the greater Los Angeles area. Loren is no stranger to disasters. Living in Santa Barbara we have seen our share of floods, fires and earthquakes. Learning to work in these situations has enabled Loren to be updated on the latest building codes and materials. Building codes and building materials are always improving and new standards are always changing the way the industry is building houses.
Loren has been able to see what the everyday person has not seen when it comes to unforeseen damages these disasters can cause on a house. Where does Loren get the experience? Loren has worked on houses damaged from the Sycamore fire, painted cave Fire, electrical fires, and high tide coastal beach houses flooded from high surf and Santa Barbara rain storms. Leaky roofs, bad drainage and broken water lines, Santa Barbara Earthquakes, the Northridge Earthquake, in which all of these had major effects, causing serious damage. Loren’s hands-on experience taught him what would hold up or fall down in these situations. Loren has also had opportunities to work with many of the different trades in the past years, including building many custom homes. Loren has had the opportunity to inspect many residential estates and houses, condos and apartments, since the 80’s for his fathers company. Loren has completed 100 hours of real estate inspection school and completed final exams with high marks for inspection school and is in good standing with the Housing Inspection Foundation. The schooling also included courses in many trades. Loren’s classes involved training in:

- Roofing
- Plumbing
- Electricity
- Heating and ventilation
- Air conditioning and heat pumps
- Appliances
- Swimming pools and spas
- Termites and other wood-destroying insects
- Environmental considerations
Loren is also an active member of New Life Church in Santa Barbara. He enjoys volunteering for events throughout the community. In his spare time he loves to play golf, play guitar and fellowship.
